Level 1: What things are made of¶
Radiation and the atom · level 1 of 8 · rough age 5-6 (a guide for parents; anyone can start anywhere)
Everything around you is made of tiny pieces, far too small to see. This first level looks for them: in sand and sugar, in mixtures you can sort out again, and in things that seem to vanish in water. It ends with the red soil of Mars and what it is made of.
