Level 1: Day and night¶
Space and time · level 1 of 8 · rough age 5-6 (a guide for parents; anyone can start anywhere)
Every morning the Sun comes up, and every evening it goes down. This level finds out why: the Earth is turning. It watches shadows change through the day, looks at the Moon and stars at night, and then visits Mars, where a day is a little longer and two small moons cross the sky.
