Level 2: Light and shadow¶
Waves, sound and light · level 2 of 8 · rough age 7-8 (a guide for parents; anyone can start anywhere)
Where does light come from, and how does it get to your eyes? This level finds the things that give out light, shows that light travels in straight lines, makes shadows bigger and smaller, and plays with mirrors. At the end you stand in the sunlight of Mars, under a smaller, dimmer Sun.
